Learn Daily Mandarin Phrases

1. When you meet others, it is polite to say
"hello!"
"nin hao!"
"您 好!"

2.when you want to act like a gentleman, for instances, you open doors for others, you give up your seat to others, and at such times, you should say
"Please!"

3.When you need others to do something for you, you should say
"Excuse me!"

4.when others help you to deal with something, you should express your gratitude and you are supposed to say

5.When you make a plea for people to give you some help, you need say
"Could you do me a favor?"

6.When you need to say goodbye to someone, you will say

哪儿 / nǎr (where)
Grammar Explanation:
When we refer to a location, we use 在 / zài + place. For example:
我在北京 / wǒ zài Běijīng (I'm in Beijing)
她在家 / tā zài jiā (she is at home)
When we ask about the location, we use:
在哪儿 / zài nǎr (where)
呢 / ne is a modal particle which is used at the end of a question. It has no specific meaning; it just makes the tone more friendly.
